HR Associate / Executive

About your role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Associate/Executive to join our team in Singapore. 


The successful candidate will play a crucial role in various HR functions and ensuring smooth HR operations. This role involves working closely with employees and team managers to facilitate HR processes and provide excellent support in areas such as recruitment, learning & development, people & culture, and employee relations.


What you will do:


Talent Acquisition

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, from requisition intake to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, provide hiring insights, and recommend hiring decisions.
  • Conduct prescreening and perform background checks where necessary.
  • Actively contribute to ensuring a healthy candidate pipeline for evergreen roles.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, documentation, and integration.

Learning & Development

  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs, competency gaps and undertake training needs analysis
  • Support career development initiatives and track development progress.
  • Source for external training providers and manage funding processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal training sessions and workshops.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training programs to recommend necessary adjustments for future needs.

People & Culture

  • Support the building and maintenance of positive organizational culture that aligns with the company's values and mission and fosters employee engagement.
  • Promote teamwork, innovation, diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and support workplace morale and productivity.
  • Partner with managers to ensure alignment of departmental practices against the company's values and culture.

Employee Relations, Welfare, and Well-being

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Act as the point of contact for business units under your purview on employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances professionally and promptly.
  • Develop and manage employee welfare programs, propose improvements, to ensure and enhance well-being of staff.
  • Undertake rewards and recognition initiatives, and propose other employee engagement strategies to enhance staff motivation and productivity. 

HR Operations

  • Collaborate with HRIS Specialist on new hire onboarding, profile set up, and salary related matters.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, job details, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing and processing HR documentation, including contracts, amendments, and terminations.
  • Manage work pass applications, renewals and cancellation.
  • Any other responsibilities and involvement in ad hoc projects as required by the superior.

The successful candidate should have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Human Resources with a focus on Learning & Development and Employee Relations. 
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management / Business Administration or other related courses of studies. 
  • Professional HR certification (CHRA, SHRM-CP, IRHP) will be an added advantage.
  • Well-versed with employment law across the SEA region.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to review learning needs, design and implement effective training programs.
  • Proactive and takes initiative and drives projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Meticulous and maintains high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Able to handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Designation (HR Associate or HR Executive) will commensurate with incumbent’s experience.
