HR Assistant

About the role:

We are seeking an intern who is interested in a career in Human Resources and eager to gain practical experience in the field. 


This internship is an excellent opportunity to explore the field of HR and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. The successful intern will work closely with our Head of Human Resources in various aspects of human resources, such as assisting recruiters in recruitment and onboarding, driving employee engagement, and other HR-related tasks and projects.

You must be able to commit to a minimum of 16-weeks (4 months) internship.


What you will do:


Recruitment Support

  • Assist in posting job advertisements on various job boards
  • Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications to assess candidate suitability
  • Support recruiters in screening resumes and scheduling interviews
  • Assist in building and maintaining a candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Collate necessary information and organize job description documents and libraries

Employee Onboarding

  • Support in employee onboarding such as organizing and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Work with new hires to enhance their employee journey
  • Champion positive employee experience

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Help plan and execute employee engagement activities (events, workshops, etc.)
  • Contribute to initiatives that promote company culture and employee well-being

HR Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, such as filing, documentation, and organizing data
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR databases are updated
  • Support team on any other ad hoc matters and projects as instructed by your supervisor

The successful candidate should have:

  • Undergoing tertiary education in Business Management/Administration
  • Applicants pursuing a specialisation/major in Human Resources will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with Google Suite
  • Organized, detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Ability to commit for a minimum of 16-week internship (4 months)
